#283: Dr Mandy Ruddock | Elevate your well-being in 2023

Dr Mandy Ruddock combines her academic knowledge and her passion for wellbeing and performance. Mandy has been working, researching, and advocating in sport, well-being, and optimal performance for over 15 years. With a PhD, Mandy is lecturer in the School of Psychology and Public Health at LaTrobe University and a member of the Centre for Sport and Social Impact. Mandy has experience in the elite sporting domain, and she has consulted, collaborated, and researched with the Australian Football League (AFL), the AFL Coaches Association, the AFL Players Association, the AFL Umpires Association, BeyondBlue and the Australian Institute of Sport.
Her research in coach welfare, wellness monitoring, sport transition, occupational stress, burnout and psychosocial factors of sport injury, have been presented at international conferences and published in international journals.
Mandy thoroughly enjoys the challenges of the elite sport environment and her passion is to bring research and knowledge into practice and to empower individuals and groups to actively enhance their own wellbeing.
Once an athlete herself, Mandy has crossed paths with many sporting, professional and unique individuals and she is passionate about connecting people.
Her aim is to empower individuals and to assist them enhance their own wellbeing and performance.
Mandy is an active mum to three boys and appreciates the simple things in life.
